Use this app to send and receive text messages on your computer through a bluetooth connection with your Android phone.
INSTRUCTIONS
-First, this app on your phone.
-Next, download the TextLink Host app on your computer from http://www.anthonyquarella.com/projects/textlink/download/TextLinkHost.jar.
-Make sure that you have Bluetooth turned on (on BOTH your computer and phone), and that your computer is Discoverable.
-On your phone, go to Settings, Wireless & Network, Bluetooth Settings, and pair with your computer.
-Start the server application on your computer (TextLinkHost.jar) and then the client application on your phone (should be listed in your apps as TextLink).
-On your phone, select your computer from the list of available devices. Your phone will let you know if you have been connected, and you will see at the top on the server application a message indicating "Device Connected!".
All text messages that are received while you are connected will be shown on your computer, and you will be able to respond from there!
If you have any issues try:
1) Disconnecting and reconnecting from within the TextLink app on your phone.
2) Clicking the "Restart" button in the TextLink Host app on your computer.
3) Restarting both apps. Bluetooth can be finicky!
